Being Late to Class
Nobody likes being late. It's really not as bad as it seems though. Usually, you have plenty of time to get to class. Three minutes doesn't sound like a lot, but it doesn't take long to grab your books and head to class. The good news is that if you're late, you get three chances, and the bad news; detention. Locker Story
Okay, so I was stopping at my locker before going upstairs to my computer literacy class. But my locker just wouldn't open- it took me five times to enter the combination before I finaly opened it. I grabbed my books and slammed the locker- then realized I still had my lunch box! The hallways were clearing, and I was running out of time. I dashed down the hallway and just kept going and going and going. The only though going through my head was "Where are the stairs???" I was all the way on the other side of the school and ran up the nearest staircase. I gulped as I came up on the upstairs floor. I've never really liked kids who were older than me, they scared me half to death! I was terrified trying to dodge between them and find my classroom. Each room was the wrong number though, and the hallways were almost completely clear now. The bell started ringing and the little voice inside my head was shouting,"This just can't be happening!" I ran into the classroom two seconds after the bell rang, and fell down in my seat. Luckily, the teacher's back had been turned and she didn't see me dash through the door. And this was what I'd been wanting since third grade- WHAT WAS I THINKING???
