Hi- RWC update

Hi everybody! Sorry I haven't written in a while. I've been busy. Here's part of a story I just wrote:

The Silver Knight

Once there was a boy named Adam. He did the usual, school and sports. Every day in class he would daydream about strange things happening to him. But nothing ever happened, until one fall day...

Adam was running to the bus stop, shoving a piece of toast down his throat. When he reached his rock he had a buttery ring around his mouth. Adam wiped his mouth. He was waiting for the bus a long time. Isn't this a little late for the bus? He was just about to walk back home when out of nowhere came the sound of a horse. Clip Clop. Clip Clop. Then out of the mist came a tall, sleek black horse, with an actual knigt in shining armor upon it's back. Adam rubbed his eyes. This couldn't be happening- not to him at least. This only happened in fairy tales. "I'm here for Adam." said the knight in an unusual voice. "I take it you're him?" Adam just gaped at the knight in amazement. "Better close your mouth young gent or you'll catch flies." Adam snapped his mouth shut, blushing a light pink. "Well, uh, why are you here for me." "I'm here to take you to the sea of sadness." the knight replied. "The sea of what?" Adam asked, shocked. "Sadness!" "But where is this 'sea'?" "Why, if you jump upon my horse I shall take you for a ride my friend." Adam hesitated. Then jumped on the horse. "Now hold on tight." and Adam, the knight and the silver horse spun to the sea of sadness. As Adam smelled the salty air he thought This is not happening.

How'd you like it? Tell me on the new poll.

My funny story

We were driving in the car to Walbuams.

"Uno, dos, tres! Uno, dos, tres!" My little sister Marissa shouted.

"It's hot in here, hace color!" My other sister Grace said. "Your nose knows!"

"Not my nose, because it's all clogged up!" I said.

"Your nose is a super smeller!"

Sometimes Grace doesn't stop talking.

"If I didn't have muscles, I couldn't bend my arm. I couldn't wave 'high.'"

"Like this?"Marissa asked

"Nope you're still bend'n em!"

"Does anyone have a tissue?" Grace said.

"Nope, use your sleve." My dad replied.

"You'll need a new shirt!"

"Nope! They dissolve!"

"Where's Dad going, I can't see him!" Grace looking out the window.

"Looks like it's a job for super hand!"

She got unbuckled.

"Oh no! Here he comes!" She got buckled quick.

When Dad got back in the car, Marissa said "Candy bear!

"He's doesn't like to go to the golden pear! You know, the golden pair is right there!"

We got out of the car and Marissa started talking Grace's ear off.

"Can someone turn her off?" Grace asked.

"Hay! I have an itch!" Marissa said itching all over.

"Now I got an itch!" Grace said itching.

"Super toothbrush!" Marissa yelled, pointing at a toothbrush.

"Shh! People want to shop in peace. If you don't be quiet I'll turn you off!"
Grace said.

"I'm making sure we don't lose her." Grace said holding on to Marissa.

"What are you doing?"

"Trying to run away!" Marissa replied.

"Be careful, don't walk into people, and stop being silly!" Grace said.

"Oh! I have an itch!" Marissa said squirming. She smelled the flowers.

"They have green inside them!" Marissa tryed to run away, but Grace held her tight.

"This one doesn't have green in it!"

"That means it's ripe! Now you can eat it!"

"Smelly!" Marissa said smelling more flowers.
"Aye, aye, aye, aye! I just saw A big enormous pedal and my hair went inside my nose!"

We walked out of the store and into the car.

"Buckle the food too!" Marissa said as we drove away. "Bye big puddle with ducks in it!"

"Are you good in class?" Dad asked.

"Yeah! I never sit on the fish!" Marissa said.

"What's your favorite song?" Dad asked.

"Chicken!" Marissa yelled. "Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah!"

"Where'd you get this scratch Dad?" Grace asked.

"Where, where?! I can't see it!" Marissa yelled. "Oh! There it is! I see a finger print!"

"There's no finger print!" Grace said.

"It dissapeared!" Marissa replied. "One foot, two foot, three foot, four foot!"

"There's a peace sign on that rock!" Grace said. Oh My!

**************************************************************
I was getting some crackers from the cabinet.

I took down the box and got out two crackers.

I bit one, and put the other one oon the table where my two sisters were sitting.

I put the box away and turned to eat my crackers, but I found one was missing.

"Where's my-" I started, but then I looked at Grace's stuffed face and guilty smile.

I turned around.

I had a plan.

I took another cracker from the box, and while Grace wasn't looking, I licked it.

"Don't touch it." I said and turned around.

"Grace!" Marissa shouted.

I turned around and saw Grace's hand over the cracker.

"Don't! I licked it!"

"Eeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww!" Grace shreiked, withdrawing her hand.

What a trick!

For Readers

I don't know about you, but my favorite thing to do is curl up in bed with a good book. I personaly like fantasy books. What genre do you like? I think that the library at our school should be bigger so we can put more books in it. What emotions do you feel when you read a book? When I get to a really sad or disapointing part in my book I feel like I want to cry. When something good happens, I want to burst with happiness, and all my worries fade away. When something scary happens my face shows the character's emotions and sometimes I make terrified noises. Who knew a book could cause so many emotions? What do you feel when you read? Post your answer in comments(not to long though).

For Writers

Hi! I love to write! It's fun isn't it? Have you ever written a short-story, or maybe a book? What was it's genre? Whether it's fantasy, realistic fiction, fiction, history or maybe you just wrote it to make someone laugh, all books can have a future. Do you have a dream, a dream to become a great author? Well I do. And you can do just about anything if you put your mind to it.

All About Me

We started the reading writing club at school, but that wasn't enough for us crazy readers/writers! I was just trying to write a comment on someone elses blog when I found myself making my own blog. At first, I didn't know what to call it, but then... Tada! This is that blog!

Introduction

Hi! My name's Haley, and this is the R.W.C. blog! Readers, put the book down and look at the computer. Writers, stop writing and look up, because this is a site that you just might like!
